The name “Jumar” was chosen to reflect a characteristic of a mechanical device referring to as an “ascender” that attaches to the rope and can only slide up, not down, expressing the strong commitment of success in sales, marketing, and distribution business achieving our supplier and customer objectives through up-ward consistent execution, service, and financial profitability. Jumar USA Inc. also takes a pride itself in distributing only quality wines and spirits that will enhance the celebration in every part of our lives.
■ History
Jumar USA Inc. was established in 2003 providing technical consultation and alcoholic beverage making supplies to wineries and distilleries. Founders of Jumar USA Inc. are been wine-making experts with a background in food and nutrition and global marketing since 1975. While they have analyzed wine and spirits produced in various countries, they discovered that many of the small production wines from Korea have great potential for competition in the US market. Based on research of the US alcoholic beverage market, they started consulting and providing supplies to wineries in Korea. Although some of these products imported to the US by other distributors, their target was limited to Asian-American market and these products still are not available in the US market. Determination met opportunity and Jumar USA Inc. was born to introduce these finest wines and spirits to the US market.
